IEP Advocacy services
In partnership with Brooklyn Center for Mindfulness and Psychotherapy, I provide IEP advocacy and consultation services to support families navigating the special education process. Services may include:
Reviewing IEPs, evaluations, and school reports
Helping parents prepare for IEP and 504 meetings
Attending meetings (virtually)
Guidance on requesting evaluations and services
Helping parents understand school recommendations and options
Ongoing parent coaching and support
My role is to help families understand the process, ask the right questions, and advocate for appropriate supports so their child can succeed academically, socially, and emotionally.
